screwed out of riding/stunting

I am going to be moving into my first house next month,
at first i couldnt wait, now i am getting stressed, it is starting to set in
My money is just disappearing!!!
My girlfriend lost her job 6 months ago and has been saying
she will find another but hasnt
so everything is going to be on me instead of half, mortgage and utilities everything and even food soon

i just started trying twelves and went back too far
so the bike i have to fix

got a speeding ticket in the work truck
64 in a 50

just having stuff go wrong closing i get to moving in
i am starting to get on edge and feeling like i need to get another job
riding always made me feel relaxed and now i barely get to ride
cant afford any more tickets or getting caught doing stupid stuff

just had to let some steam off

Re: screwed out of riding/stunting

I feel you man. I just got four points for careless driving; plus four I had already for a 100+mph ticket I got two and a half years ago... one more fuc*-up in the next 6 months & I'll have problems. I just banged my bike up trying a scrape as well, but worse it dislocated a tarsal in my foot leaving me out of work. Now the owner is all up in my **** about the bike, and how I should drive a car. I was going to buy a dedicated stunt-bike, and step up my training which would undoubtedly have me wrecking more. That could cause a problem w/work. Now I'm just pissed & confused.

I feel you...

Re: screwed out of riding/stunting

Nope...
Even if I had it would still shift. I would just be pushing down for second instead of pulling up.

Arrow Re: screwed out of riding/stunting

Nope... something internal. All the linkage is perfect. The shaft that enters the case looks straight, and it shifts into 1st no problem. If there was a linkage problem it would most probably not shift at all. I can grab first, but when you go for second it just won't grab.

I got married in Aug. 2002, bought my first house in Dec. 2002, and found out 2 weeks ago that I'm having a baby. I know stress. Atleast I've had the same job for the last 7 years.

Re: screwed out of riding/stunting

That sounds almost like my life. We got married, I got pregnant my wedding night, bought a house when I was 7 months along, and we moved when I was 8 1/2 months along. No nursery set up, nothing with 2 weeks to go! Talk about being stressed out (hormones and all). But everything will work out in the end. It always does. That sounds like such a cliche, but it is true. 5 years from now, you will look back at this time in your life as just a speed bump, instead of the mountain it looks like now.
