got a couple of questions for the guys using mx bars. i recently switched and am now just getting used to it but.....................
every time i crash my bars get bent. i am currently using just cheap $20 msr bars. my thinking was a big heavy sportbike would still bend expensive bars. a
any input? if i can't figure it out i'm swithchin back

 

I have renthal twinwalls, they never bend. Twice, Ive stripped the threads out of my bar clamps, and still the bars never bent. You get what you pay for, you know the deal.

 

how are you guys doing with MX bars? I mean did you feel you benefited from it or the same or worse?

 

Ya know how there are MX bar haters? Well I'm a clip-on hater. To me it feels more natural.

 

Hell yea. I raced motocross for yrs so that was natural to me. I use renthals but I dont have the twinwalls yet.. Im not that big of a yet... But it dont matter cuz i love bent ****. So get bent :YEAH

Dude i loveeee them. Honestly tho, ive tried 3 different setups, My personal favorite... Yamaha Superjet bars. the hardware, i just yanked a set off an old dirtbike out of a junkyard. 5 bucks for em. just drill the holes in the tripple tree and do 'er up.

i have crashed plenty of times on my dirtbike with twinwalls and they havent bent, but i dont know with a big bike.....
