I have the MSR Raptor. I like it. It makes it easier, not 300% like it says, but easier. The engagement is a little different but you get used to it quick.

What do you do about the clutch sensor in the GSXR's? I need a new lever and perch badly. My perch broke last May and has been held together with a hose clamp ever since. Talk about ghetto

Re: MSR, ASV, RTC, MOOSE, adjustable clutch levers

i have the raptor too. the kid i bought the bike from put a racing clutch in. super hard to pull in. slapped the raptor lever/perch on. easier than stock!
one dislike is that it made the disengagement point further in (pull further in to disengage), but i don't even notice anymore.

I've been waiting to get one, does it matter which application you buy it for? Or are they universal. My g/fs 900rr came with a ratpor on it and I think it was off a 00' yz125.

Re: MSR, ASV, RTC, MOOSE, adjustable clutch levers

sounds like i should get a raptor. I've got hd clutch springs so it's a little harder to pull.

yeah, i went from hard to pull with 2 fingers to easy to pull with 1 finger.

i think that the raptor clutch is universal, least the one i bought was.

Re: MSR, ASV, RTC, MOOSE, adjustable clutch levers

update:
I got a raptor lever. It's pretty trick, but the adjustment threading and screw is probably the biggest piece of crap I've ever come across. I managed to snap the head of it off trying to tighten the adjustment using a small pair of plyers...I wasn't doing anything ridiculous. I just reused my Honda adjuster in place of the busted one and the lever works great actually, but I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of the raptor adjuster.

I got one too and like it but, why in the hell are you using pliers to on the adjuster screw?

Re: MSR, ASV, RTC, MOOSE, adjustable clutch levers

because it was hard to turn? It may have just been a faulty piece because I didn't need plyers with my stock Honda adjuster.

You have to hold the cable close to the bar when you adjust it. It pivots and the slots have to line up.
