crashing on lockdown. who got's it?

i tell ya what fellaz. expect me to crash. that's all there is to it.

on monday i was mobbing the ole highchair scrape in 2nd gear, and got myself into the pickle of slowing down too much and couldn't get off the bar. PANCAKE

today i was finessing my 50/50 aka special k's. had them looking good so it was time to go for the bar. 1st try, too slow. PANCAKE w/ a flip. 2nd try nailed it. 3rd try hit it, came down bike stalled at like 30mph still sitting 50/50 foot on ground bike sliding on cage, step off bike into ballerina spin, bike slids like 40 feet and comes to a rest.

thanks to my f.i. cage there is no damage what so ever, except bent tag handlebars.

i think crashing w/ this type of style takes skill, so look for it in upcoming events.

and it's only wed.

Re: crashing on lockdown. who got's it?

after his 1st crash today...i was freaked out...i said to him right after that "dude, ur scaring me" he took one more run...then the one after that and crashed doing like 25-30mph..bike slid 40 some feet with him dragin behind it rollin and flippin. **** looks scary when you see somone flying trying to park a 50/50 just knowing he's gonna go down again

but the **** he is pulling off is really cool...so rock on rodge.

little note: FI cages...
That bike has been flipped 3 times in front of me in 10 days. (few more times when i was not there) and every thing is mint except for one bolt.
Slaming down on the cage side to side in barrel rolls,
parking upside down after hard bounce

its been fun watching that bike bounce off the concrete and see rodge get back on it with in seconds and ride off again aftetr hard crash. he missing skin off his *** but the bike is mint

Heh! Something like that kinda happened to me on the highway once. I was rolling with one of my boys and we were messing with these two chicks in the car beside us... Rush hour so traffic was basically at a stand still... I'm watching my boy as he's tapping his back seat asking em if they want to ride... and I don't notice a f-ckinf crater in my lane the size of the grand canyon. my front wheel wedges into it... and I get thrown over the front of the bike. I do a clean flip and land sitting down in front of the bike with my throttle hand still holding on so somehow the bike never fell.

I'm sure they declined that ride he offered after that.

Re: crashing on lockdown. who got's it?

that's pimp that you can crash gracefully. that's one thing that drives me nuts, the guys that are really good at **** can mess up and either save it, or just walk away with no damage like it was no big deal. I'm slowly getting to that stage but i had streak there for a while when every time my bike hit the ground something exploded off of it.

good job on the scrapes. that's some crazy ****

damn looks like we got a few feet to go. the clutch is shot on og's so we might be missing 5mph off the top speed. is that downhill at all?

It's funny because I can only go a little over 150 ft on my 929 right now

On the TTR's we're in the middle of 5th gear. I'd say the first 75-100ft of the lot has a slight slope to it but it is very minimal. We were doing about 150 consistantly....then... one day we both just started pushing each other to go further and further and we went from 150 to 260-270 in about 2 hrs. I know it may sound like BS without seeing it but our next video will have proof :YEAH

Also, I heard Patrick Stevens is hitting around 350. That seems unreal on a TTR
