Red face 2-wheel Tuesday

Sorry if this is a double-post. Did a quick glance to see if it was posted already and I didn't see it.

Anyway, anybody watch this last night? They had a pretty cool little machine on there. It was this thing that was in the floor of a trailer, sort of like a mobile Dyno....You strapped a bike onto it and it allowed you to ride wheelies. I only caught the end, so not sure how it worked...I'm guessing it just provided resistance to the wheel or something. The bike was totally strapped in, so it couldn't fall to the side or backwards. Looked pretty fun either way.

Hey, I just found the website for the thing I was talking about...it's here http://www.wheelieride.com/ . A little too safe for my blood, won't train you on the side to side motion of the bike, but would be something fun to have in the basement on a rainy day...LOL.

Again, sorry if this is a double post.

-Josh

Re: 2-wheel Tuesday

my friend rode it for like 30 bucks.

he has a cbr600rr, and he used the guys 954 on the wheeliemachine thing. the guy told him EXACTLY how to clutch it up and everything. he told me that it really helped him, and now he is actually trying to clutch his RR instead of just power wheelies.

he said the guy told him he paid like 25,000 for it. and has made WAY more than that since he had it. sounds like a cool job.

Re: 2-wheel Tuesday

I'm sure someone could build one for pretty cheap, **** 25,000...

You could just use an old treadmill with rollers or something and set it on a certain amount of resistance. hahah

Yeah, those were on the show too. They tipped a gsxr over right there in the studio.
