Re: R6 vs 929

BP is a little larger on a 929, but it'll throw you off with all the extra power. Liter bikes are more difficult to keep smooth unless you're doing slow idle-up wheelies

Re: R6 vs 929

there is no specific balance point. it all differs from rider weight, speed, tires, psi, wind....and it goes on and on. you can't say "this has a higher bp than that" because my 929 will have a much higher bp doing a 5mph wheelie and my 929 at 75 mph.....so does that mean 2 929's have different bp's? yes, depending other stuff.

yamaha's do seem to have a mysterious wobble at speed on the rear wheel. My team mate corey rides an r6 and i haven't seen him get wobble yet. Most it is rider error and just learning. I used to wobble insanely bad doing highwya wheelies on my 929...kept on working on wheelies and now i don't wobble anymore unless i hit a bad patch in the road or something. you'd be surprised that a lot is the riding style of the person.

oh ya, also my friend zach has an 03 r6 and he rides highway stuff for blocks and doesn't have problems.

*** an r6 and a yamaha.

929 is a incredibly awsome stuntbike if not the best out currently.

Re: R6 vs 929

The bike doesn't make the rider....the rider makes the bike. the bike might help as in sizing in this case....the R6 will be cramped making your arms do more work at BP (standing) and the 929 is pretty stretched out for the taller rider. comfort = confidence......but any bike can do the deed if need be.
