front brake problem

i've been practicing rolling stoppies and it was all good until recently my brakes started pulsating @ the lever.

When i'm up on the front wheel, I can totally feel the wheel slow down periodically.

I changed my rotors last year, and they don't seem warped to me... Any ideas what else could be the problem?

I have a 97 Gixx 750... should I just get some calipers from a newer model and bolt those on??? anyone else have this problem?

Re: front brake problem

You may want to check your wheel/rim. When it is bent it will feel like your brakes are surging. I had the same problem and thought maybe it was my front wheel needing to be balanced and when I took it in to the shop they spun it on the machine and you could see that it was warped. I replaced it and the surg went away...

Re: front brake problem

it's actually looking like of the cylinders on the right caliper is sticking... I'm getting new-used ones today and hopefully that'll take care of the problem.

i don't want my stoppies to be garbage anymore
