fiddys...why?

i dont understand the fiddy craze, yet...they are very small...they lack in power...but you can pick them up...why does everyone like them so much...why not just buy a 125 dirt bike or something that you can pull up in nearly every gear...lets hear some pro's and con's b/c i was thinking of buying one just to see why everyone likes them so much...

you can ride them anywhere, unlike a 125, besides that you just gotta own one to understand

True true.. also if you can wheelie a 104lb bike that has 1hsp (stock) for blocks and blocks.. thats

Anyone can wheelie a sportbike/dirtbike. 50 takes skills.

Cuz you can keep it in your apartment closet when you have limited space..

They are a blast to stunt or just tool around..

And they get some really good laughs when you see a grown adult on something made for a 6 year old..

Thier fun, and cheap (1g vs 2500 for a ttr125) and you look goofy as hell with two wheels on the ground but pimp as hell wheeling it

Re: fiddys...why?

i love 50. It's easy to take with me, doesn't take up much space, and is great for a pit bike. Also good for camera bikes. By 125 i think you mean ttr because if you mean like cr125 you are crazy.

i trail ride my 50 and love taking it on 50 motocross tracks. It really makes you work hard when you are pounding the doubles and such so it takes a lot of skill and endurance. and they are just fun....oh ya, and they are durable, drop them off a cliff, they still run.

Nothing essentially. Same bike, just updated plastics (and I heard the forks on the CRF are 1 inch longer, but don't know this for sure). Basically renamed in '04 and styled after the "big dirt bikes".

You can pull up a 50 in any gear....

Check out this thread for a peek into the fiddy fun:

My 929 just collects dust in the garage these days..

ok if you go and do a wheelie in third gear on a 125 you are traveling at about 40 to 45 mph and say you then loope the wheelie wich are you goin to get hurt on worse 125 or a fiddy take in to mind that there is about a 2 to 4 ft drop off a 125 and about a 1/2 ft drop off a fiddy plus there just strait up fun
:YEAH :YEAH
