Which is the most comfortable helmet? Do Arais really form to your head better? Is HJC just a good?

Re: Helmet Help

HJC's are good but with Helmets you really get what you pay for. Just try em all on and see what works best for your head shape.

Re: Helmet Help

ya, like kyle said each helmet is different. They might be the same size, but different fit. I had that problem fitting dirtbike helmets. Bell helmets are great helmets but didn't fit me as good as the KBC i run.

arai are a lot nicer helmets than HJC, they fit better, more comfortable, but they are 300 something verses HJC 100 something. I run the HJC cause it fits me fine and is 1/3 the cost....it's not an arai, but it saves my head and i like the fit.

Re: Helmet Help

the more expensive brands usually are that way cause of shell quality first. the top stuff also uses better lining. my first helmet was an HJC which i thought was great til i tried better stuff and realized the HJC sucked. you totally get what you pay for, but gotta figure it out on your own by trying stuff on and seeing what works best for you.
try to get a lid that's fiberglass or a composite shell, not plastic or polly-alloy garbage
