I was doing a stand up at about 80 mph last night when I crested a hill and it felt like I was looping it & going air born at the same time! When I came down the handlebars gave me a good jerk and I thought I was done.... fortunetly the Scott's kicked in :YEAH Anybody else have good stories about how the damper has saved their butt?

 

did it tank slap at all? if it did, watch around the top part of your scotts for oil leakage. Mine started leaking real bad after i had an incident like that.

 

I don't......yet. I do have bad one though. I was goin bout 80 doin a stand up and put it down w/ the wheel a lil turned. Well I got tank slapper's from hell and the damn thing high sided me. OUCH!....Blew out my shoulder and broke my collar bone(2 surgeries to fix). Should be installing a damper this weekend actually so hopefully I'll have a good story
