Changing throttle ratio

Changing throttle ratio
Does anyone know or ever heard to a kit that would change the twist ratio on the throttle for bigger street bikes (gsxr 750)? I want to make my throttle not so "touchy." I know they have these kits for off road bikes leike 1/4 turn throttles, but i haven't found anything for street bikes.
Any help would be appreciated

1/4 throttle would make the bike more touchy, I don't think they make 1 1/2 turn throttles to make the throttle less responsive. My suggestion is to try and learn the throttle and the bike better and try not to get so into it if it's touchy.

I have the same bike and was wondering the same thing. My throttle control is wack after riding the fiddy so much. Then I just gave the fiddy a break and its coming back to me now. Just gotta keep it smooth as you can.

I've never seen them to make the throttle "less touchy", but they do make them for the street as you are familiar w/to cut down on total rotation from idle to WOT. Helps wrist pain as I'm sure you're aware.

ya, 1/4 turn makes the throttle more responsive.
anyways, it's called fuel injection, it's just twitchy. how long have you been riding it? Just practice more and take more time riding it. 99% of the time it's user problem. I noticed that chad's gixxer750 is more twitchy than my 929, but it wasn't a problem for me, just the difference in suzuki and honda fuel injection. You just gotta work on being smoother on the throttle. it takes time. nothing is instantaneous.

Carbs are the shizzle for this very reason.. so forgiving. Well, atleast thats what I'll tell myself until I get an FI bike.

to make it less twitchy you'd have to increase the size of the cable wheel circumfrence on the CARB side..
Attach a little runner for the PULL cable to run on to raise it up and make the circumfrence greater.
A problem might be that the PUSH counter-cable thing might slacken up enough to make it come off track, you might have to make a little loop to keep it on track.

Re: Changing throttle ratio
I know 1/4 turn makes it more "twicky" i was just using that for an example. However I was thinking if you go the other way with it would make it easier, on slow **** for newbies. Right now i'm 2 down and 12 up, and its hard as hell to keep it smooth, because you only have a very very small sweet spot, which is hard to find. Thus if i made the throttle more forgiving it would make the sweet spot bigger and easier to slow **** down.

try getting it up balanced faster, then you can be completely off the throttle and you won't be very twitchy, it'll all be brake control.
