the man has spoken. this is exactly correct. The only thing that you'll have to do is switch everything over. You want a 929 front end you'll need forks, both triples, clip ons, rotors, wheel, axle, brakes, the works.

i also suggest if you are going to change them over, you put tapered bearings in them.....they are worth their cost 10 times over. huge difference in handling and also they won't dent like standard cheapo bearings. oh ya, and they are cheaper. a set of tapered bearings is like 30-40$ depending the bike, and the stock ones (at least for a 929) are 65$ for the set.

lost cause. the only forks/ front end you'll find from 929's and 954's are from non-wrecked bikes being parted out. kids these days are always tearing up teh front of their ****.

That's kinda odd too because the 94 still has a speedo on the wheel, so the left fork has to be different, it has to have the notch for the speedo.
94 is the first year for fully adjustable forks on the f2 but they aren't the same as the f3 . if you use f3 you will need everything and lose your speedo.

ya, but what's a speedo to a stunter?

and ya, i forgot. the forks were replaced on my f2 cause i was going to say mine aren't fully adjustable and it's a 94.....but i think they have older model forks on them.

theyre not "fully" adjustable, theres no rebound settings like newer ones.

only spring preload and compression settings. the f3 setup is much better if you dont care about the speedo

not to argue ,but the last year (94) f2 has fully adjustable ...compression ,rebound ..and preload adustments .they are not the same as the f3, the f3 internals are a cartridge design and work a little better . my comment was that the 94 f2 fork is a major upgrade over earlier f2s. and the easiest to swap. you gotta have a speedo for those dope on-board videos showing the speedo doing 100= mph wheelies!!

"DOOH" My bad.. I just went a pulled the magazine with the f2 article and in the same sentence as the up-dated fork it mentioned the "Fully Adjustable REAR shock" "you sir are correct". that pisses me off b/c i had a chance to pick up some f3 forks cheap and turned them down ... dammit.. sorry for the miss info... but they still are better than earlier f2s.
