16" or 17" front rim, does it matter?

been out of stunting since aug, 03 not to long. i have always been a big gixxer fan and know them well, and have owned a 97' and a 02'. but they come standard w/ a 17" front rim, and that is what i'm use to but i have come across a clean 98' 900rr and know absolutely nothing about honda.
my question is, is there a big differance from a 16" and 17" front rim for overall stunting? or does it matter?
any info will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

ride safe and God Bless!

17" handles better for racing than a 16"
I don't know for stunts

This is True

As far as stunting goes it dosn't really matter the only bad thing is your not going to be able to pickup tires on ebay and U may have to order them in from your local shop. Non of the shops around here carry them except for the one I work at and thats because I have a 98 900RR. I like the 16 because it's wider 130 instead of a 120 not that big of a diff but everything helps.

900 = sweet as bike cant beat a honda
Dam bikes are tough as hell :YEAH

thanks for all the in put, one more thing maybe you can help me with, the 900rr i am interested in is pretty much mint, only except that the guy has let the bike sit since nov.03' and the throttle sticks like mad. and he said he changed the plugs himself and i noticed the rubber spacers that sit in between the frame and the tank well besides missing one, they sit a good 1/2 inch. off the frame but the tank is bolted up.
are these thing easy fixes?
the bike only has 11k i hate to pass it up.

oh is that why in the top motorcycle racing in the world, MotoGP, most of the riders use a 16" front rim? it really just comes down to preference, what feels better for you. i dont think they make a difference for stunting either, i havent ridden much with one, but from what i see they dont seem to make that big of a difference.

My friend races and removed his stock 17"s for 16" or 16.5", dont know which.
His reason being is the bike drops into corner's faster.
I don't think it matters when stunting, only in handling

if you're gonna stunt, the front wheel is up in the air most of the time anyways, I don't know the diff. they make on endos tho.
