Man, when are you planning to go to Australia? That'd be a bummer to have to go with a cast on. Tell the doc you want an air cast...i had one of those when i broke my ankle. The first 4 weeks i had a plaster cast and it killed me to not be able to jump in the pool. Then I begged for an air cast and it was all good. you can even take it off for a sec to relive itch's.

well it'd suck if he couldn't do australia, but i don't think you can aircast a femur. that's a really crappy bone to break.

yeah, a buddy of mine did it while ramping last summer. he was hooked up to a catheter...hope you're not suffering the same fate Dan. that thing really made my buddy appreciate being able to pee.

Hey what up Dan ? met ya last year at xsba in st. louis and in daytona at bike week, I just got out of surgury on monday broke my tibia platau ( top of shin ) and screwed my knee up 12'n and I know it sucks *** but hope ya get well soon.

just make sure you take it easy and don't try to do too much.
i got all busted up at the starboyz event last year and can take all my hardware out in 1 year......can the rod be taken out? if so it would probably be worth the surgery considering what you do. anyhow hope it doesn't bother you too much and heals quickly
