Or someone is just gonna stare at a "hardcore thug" like many people think they are, things would be said and the "thug" would shoot the other guy just to be hardcore. That's what worries me. Or when is shooting someone justified? You know lawyers can twist your words on if it was justified or not and your *** would go to jail for defending yourself....

On the other hand, I'll pack some heat in civilian clothes when I'm a cop....
That's why there's laws against possesion of a firearm while drinking. When I'm licensed and I know I'll be drinking, I'll leave my gun at home, safe and sound, but on the same note, I know that alcohol will make people do stupid ****, therefore that's another reason I won't take a gun with me anywhere I'll be drinking, or have the chance to drink. ANd in (hopefully) 4 months, I will be a cop.

BTW, I openly carry a gun at work. I feel safe let me tell ya, and I know when and how to use, but I'm also responsible enough not to go around doing dumbshit w/ it. Man, I just read all my posts, you can tell I'm a gun nut. Anyways, as far as knives go, anybody know any good SELF-DEFENSE knives that I could carry legally in FL?

the FL statute regarding "self-propelled knives" has been revised so there is no mistaking. ballistic knives are illegal, NOT auto opening aka "switchblades". nor is there any max length on folding knives in FL. you CANNOT conceal the handle of a fixed blade knife without a concealed carry permit (ccp applies to weapons other than firearms)

i'm not going to add an opinion (on right or wrong) to the 7 pages already here, but to help with the original question - (as gay as they are) them damn fanny packs are a biker's answer to the carry dilema.

just keep in mind, folks, there's a huge difference between "being armed" and simply possessing a firearm.

btw - if my info to the left of this still says a have a Katana, it's just cuz i never updated it

I have a CCW permit also. I know that glocks have 3 internal safties and they are the safiest guns. Thats y i own a glock 19(9mm) and a glock 30(.45) I dont want to use it but if its my life or someone trying to endanger me or my loved ones then i have to live with that choice. Carring a gun is a huge responsability cause u know u have the upperhand in the cituation at hand. a ccw course here in texas requires u to take a min of 10 hours training. They dont just test u on ur accuracy. thats only 30-45 min. i scored a 248 out of 250. U are taught how to difuse situations with out force. I dont stunt on the bike i have because its financed lol. but if i had a bike that was payed off i be doin alot more practice.

Glocks are safe depending on the situation there placed in, true there not safe if you leave them in a house laying around with kids running around, but otherwise they got good safetys, just not in the sense as of a trigger lock like my steyer.

[QUOTE=covertwar]All of you ******** from Canada that talk smack on the United States and we residents of our country, whom abide by OUR laws you are stupid. Bowling from Columbine? What a fucking dummy whoever said that. Ironically I am in an Journalism class where they made us watch that fucking biased and inaccurate movie and extensively dissect it. After a lot of research that I hope I never have to do again, I found that his method was flawed, and basically the whole movie was tailored to be funny, but it is not scientifically correct.

You ********* talk **** on us like we are breaking the law, when in fact we are on our own turf, under the laws of the United States of America and our state. If you don't like it, stay in FUCKING CANADA AND NEVER COME DOWN HERE. If somebody trys to invade your country, which is the second biggest country in the world, by the way, who are you going to call now, eh? What a big baby.
