Re: Crash Cages

FI is bbeing retared. all the cages have there ups and downs. stunting is for fun not to make a profit, if anything all the cage companies shud team up to make the best cage possible, not suing each other. i mean grow up ur not guna live of cage sales alone, and u shudnt ruin the sport by makin 1 product people shud be able to choose what tehy want.

Re: Crash Cages

yah taht was a lil harsh. the cage bein bad is jsut ur cage or ur crash i have an fi cage and its awsome, not sayin its the besst ot better than 905 or any other companies just my thots. my fi cage has survived 3 bad 12 attempts, looped a 60mph in 2nd, numerous stoopies and burnotu crashes. i have an fi cage and a 905 bar, jsut keep both companies happy and buy both...lol

I used to work there and they do make a living solely on cage/slider/spool sales.

Re: Crash Cages

You cant COPY a design that has a patent. You can make 1 change to it and the rest can be identical and thats legal. patenting an "idea" is tough. I guess the first person that designed frame sliders should go after FI then.

If this goes to court I'll boycott FI... I'll take the cage off my bike and have my buddy make one, his is nicer anyways.

people like that make me sick!

Tim,

Stop getting raped by your lawyer.

It IS NOT Infringement to "improve" on a patented idea, such as your "protective cage for streetbikes". You need to set your focus on those who make an obvious copy of your patented cage design.

Thats like suzuki sueing honda for making another streetbike.

You will get no where in court with this your lawyer is taking you for a ride.

EDIT: I just saw this is a thread someone brought up from 04 so where did this suit go?

Re: Crash Cages

i hated FI ever since my 900rr broke the frame cause of that p.o.s cage.. they don't have a leg to stand on in court.. so does this mean that coke or pepsi can sue one another its called competition.. the only reason that someone would take legal actions after years and years is cause noone is buying there junk anymore.. f4i is the only bike that cage is worth a half a **** on
