Re: best v-twin

i'd say go for the tls. i talked to corey from d-aces and he's had 5 or 6 motors in his now. i guess it's all in the luck of the draw. i blew up my buddy's tls motor doin a long wheelie last summer. oops . but my other buddy has had his tls for like 3 yrs and no probs. also blew up my sv 650 motor first day i had it out last summer. wtf, :YEAH i'll just stay with the 4 bangers.

Re: best v-twin

I like the TLS, fun bike, nothing wrong with a VTR1000 either though! I hope he doesn't mind me posting this, but this is Ned from the Newcastle Sportriders on his very, very, tasty looking TL.

Well that is a lot of engines..

Is that oil pickup too front? what's the problem? Does it loose oil pressure(does the light come on)..

Re: best v-twin

I have a 2001 SV650.... the oil circulation sucks, i blew my motor last year.... havent really been able to find a motor for cheap.... they're like 800-1000 for them.... i guess the oil pick up is towards the front too much? i dunno....
