gsxr1000 gearing

whats a fun gearing for a gsxr 1000? never rode one before, just wanted to get some insight on what you all have to say. not looking to go +72 or anything. i was thinking maybe -3+2 and keep the stock chain?

Re: gsxr1000 gearing

Richie, -3+4 keeps stock chain, rolls 75mph at around 7000 rpm, and is pimp for stunting all around, been rockin it for a year now

Re: gsxr1000 gearing

I went 2/2 to learn 12's, 2/8 to help slow it down more(still do 150mph with that,NO ****.) now 20 up still bogs when going real slow, 2/20 when I put it back together, hopefully be able to creep it without fanning the clutch.
