i bought the 600 end of last year thinkin i didnt wanna stunt much but this year with the few times ive been out all it has been is stunts. so now i want to get a bike that is better for this. any opinions on gettin rid of the 600 and losing some money and gettin a 929 with 5k miles. i would be tradeing it even up pretty much. thanks

Re: trade 600rr for a 929

yeah...i would have to agree with jay from VO.
i have a 600RR and went -1/+3. completely changed
the bike overall. i like it, but want to go more up on rear sprocket.
the bike does have plenty of power for a 600

peace

I have heard the same thing he said.....the 600's today are a lot more powerful than they used to be (F3-f4). Stunting a 600 is harder and if you do move up to a 929 or so, it will make you appreciate it more and also know what to do . just my

i'd say make the trade. 600rr are narrow and weak, 929's take a licking and keep on ticking. not to mention the gas take on the 600rr is plastic so will probably shatter into pieces the first chance it gets

Re: trade 600rr for a 929

i stunt an f3 like a madman. it isn't the bike its more the rider. its much better to learn on a 600 first. whenveri move up to another bike (929 prolly) its gonna be insane. if i can do what i do on an f3 i cant wait till i have a new bike and a litrebike.

It still has a metal gas tank. There is just a plastic cover on it

yea I can vouch for that.....seen many 929's tumble everywhich way at all kinds of speeds and so long as they don't hit something that doesn't move u can usually keep riding

just a little grip tape will solve the tank problem. since you can't dent it in.

Re: trade 600rr for a 929

as far as durability will the 600rr be able to take a decent beating. i know it wont take what the 929 will but wil it at least take a good beating withtout being totally done?

Re: trade 600rr for a 929

yeah...i have dropped it a few times, and went down once on it's side
during a stoppie. but "knock on wood" it hasn't hit the ground really hard yet.
but so far it has handled everything i've thrown at it. but it is still a newer bike so not many people if any are stuntin them yet (that i know of) also still waitin for someone to make a 12 bar for it. HINT HINT!!! (905?) they already have a cage for it....but no bar yet. not sure if you have stunted it at all, but the bike is great for stoppies! needs steering stabilizer though.

peace
