GSXR Riders

Hey, gotta question for all the GSXR riders. Just bought a '97 GSXR 750 and I was wondering how good they are to stunt. How's the balance point for wheelies, things like that. Let me know what you guys think.

Re: GSXR Riders

i have a 97' 600 it's one of the best bikes i've ever had. i did have to gear it i went 1 down and 10 up. makes things like slows alot better. 750 is the right way to go if you ever need parts i've got srad parts like tank, gas cap, uppers, headlight, and some brake stuff. holla

Re: GSXR Riders

front rotors are the same 97-03...

I have had 00 (srad) 600, then 96 750...I loved them until I started doing 12's...carbs cant run upside down. (I had my bar inside where the taillight used to be with the tail cut).

Definitely great bikes as long as your carbs are dialed. Balance piont is very wide. I have upgraded to 03 fuel injected.

Re: GSXR Riders

Like everyone else said, they are great except for 12's. I've had a 96 and 97 750's and i learned alot on them.

Re: GSXR Riders

Thanx for the info. Now, I'm just pumped as hell to try it out. Can anyone out there compare it to a YZF 750R? Is the balance point any easier to hold?

Re: GSXR Riders

You only feel confident because you're capped at 33BHP.. I will trying anything on my CB200 because it doesn't have enough power to loop, well that and it cost me 200 dollars..

GSXR though? I'm too afraid to drop it

Re: GSXR Riders

i had a 97 600 with a 750 motor in it. awesome balance point for hi-way wheelies, and it's one tough bike. bought a '01 gixxer 600 now though.

Re: GSXR Riders

I like my gixxer 600 better than my 900rr. Lighter and easy to control. Does anyone have the tail section for cheap to fit the 97 gsxr? I dont really care about the condition, cuz im just going to scape it 12 O'clockin.

I've got a subframe with an internal 12 o'clock bar on it and cut tail plastics. I also have a undertail mounted 12 bar and normal tail plastics.
