Which 12 bar
Which 12 bar works the best with a gixxer 600? A friend just bought a bar from team-xtream and I wasn't too impressed. It ground down real quick and it wasn't at the right angle. It ground all the way through the bottom part of the plate without getting a scratch on the top of it. Another friend has a F.I. and it seemed to work a lot better. I like the way the 905 bars look but quality comes first. Which one works the best right out of the box?

you gotta.. they come really long from FI.. we had to cut about 5 inches off of the 929 bar

Re: Which 12 bar
i like my freestyle bar, but it's never ground straight, the bottom hits and digs, top is still mint
kinda sux cause the reason i paid 125 for the bar is so i wouldn't have to deal w/ the engineering issues

FI bars are the BEST around...i'm guessing if anyone has probs with it scraping, they may not have mounted it right...i've tried homemede and have friends who have tried others....

Re: Which 12 bar
almost no bar will ever scrape right, because they design it off of one bike, and when you get the bar and put it on your bike there is alot of things that will change the angle. Such as chain adjustment, which puts your rear tire farther to the rear or closer to the front, or how much tire pressure you are running will also change the angle that the bar will scrape at. I am rockin a powers bikeworks bar, and I love the way it is build. You just have to make adjustments to the bike if you are conserned about the bar scraping flat.

I had made my own, then I converted over to an F.I. Bar. I am really impressed with the F.I. BAR. Though I did have to cut 4.5 inches off for the GSXR 750. F.I. is going to release a "pro" bar soon that will be 4 inches or so shorter. The new crmly cages from F.I. are sick too.

Love my FI bar. I feel you have to hit your bar straight and grind it the way it hits. If you keep hitting it nice a straight, after a while it wears straight and hits real good.
