<sigh>

It's got **** all to do with people from the UK...

FFS - when will some of you learn? A record ain't an official record if it's not recognised by the Guiness Book Of Records?!?

Don't diss UK bikers when it's got **** all to do with us

Want to set an officially recognised record? Then here's how:

hmm....check in dv8's forum, look for his post about it and there is a link somewhere. i read it on a site somewhere about it. cause it had the whole story about him breaking 1000 during his practice runs while the cameras were being setup then he messed up his bike (blown motor i think) and he jumped on his buddies stock gsxr and rocked just under 1000 feet. kinda pimp if you ask me.

It says you have to buy the book for the coplete records.

They only have a selection of records on their site, .

Anyone who can stoppie over 100ft is a God to me. But I don't care who has the record - I do care when someone slags my country for no reason

Diss Jones (he deserves it), but when someone slags the rest of us off because of him then expect a reaction

Why dont Guniess set up a World Comp. Once a year at an Airport? It would be like the Revolutionary War again. Our "Yanks" would send them home disapointed again. :YEAH

Re: Stoppie World Record - Craig Jones

new guy here. not trying to bash but what is the difference between Jones modifying his bike to do long stoppies and some pros on here modifying their bikes to do other kinds of tricks? for example: huge *** sprockets, changing the clip-ons to mx bars...etc. i don't think anyone runs stock (except for maybe emrock).

:YEAH :YEAH

Note:
We all should keep in mind that ALL records can and will fall eventually We as Americans shouldn't "bash" another country for an "attempt" at achievement. Remember that most of you ****** ride bikes that are made in "other" countries. We should tip our hats to those who influence the sport we all enjoy, because it helps us ALL get recognition.

laterz!~

Re: Stoppie World Record - Craig Jones

you don't need steroids in your **** to do record length stoppies hell, just hop on the Tomahawk (Dodge's new concept 4 wheel bike with the viper engine), rip that thing to it's theoretical top speed of 350 ish MPH, and lock the front brakes up, I bet you could do a mile long endo with that!

Me and Joe had a talk a couple weeks ago with the premise of setting a new record....A silly one. Truth is, since I broke it way back when, I haven't put much effort in going any further and Joe hasn't put any effort towards a world record what-so-ever (You lazy fu@k), and we all know he warms up with 700ft coming in at only about 70mph.
There are a couple dudes (Thew, Ryan, Mellen, Our new young olympic hopeful from texas, ironically with the last name Houston) Who haven't reached their full potential either. Don't make us click another gear now.
Right now, I'm thinking the same thing I think every time we're nice enough to pull over for a cop: We're only sitting here, not because you made us pull over, but because we let you pull us over.......

But until then.....CONGRATULATIONS!
