1)He said $50k...but hey, it has a dyno??????
2)If I worked my 954 up as hard as that dude, it would SPLAT!!!!! It isn't practical to learn, aspinning drum deom a standstill and pavment are two completly different things.... but I'd sport one for parties or sell people rides on it?????

Anyone that thinks while starting to learn wheelies u couldnt learn somethin from this is wrong. Sure things will be different when u step it up to the real thing but u can practice throttle control and brake control. Think about when u learned to ride a pedal bike with training wheels! Was that not good practice cause u couldnt tip over?
Secondly what a pimp ride for a drunken party!!!! :YEAH

Re: wheelie simulator machine thing in FL
check this out,
I was thinkin of using a automobile rim as the roller.. It would be mounted on a junkyard rear axle.. You could cut the axle in half and that exposed spider gear flange could be a place where you'd mount your 45lbs freeweights.
INERTIA is key..
I think there should only be a LIGHT brake on the dynos. The rollers gotta have a ton of inertia to clutch up the front, you should be able to bolt on 45lb freeweights onto the rollers..
if there was a brake on it, it would be like riding a wheelie up a steep hill.... that would make for an artificially low balance point.. you might dump it when riding the real ****. You need resistance to clutch up the front, but if it drags too much, you won't feel that floaty balance point.

Re: wheelie simulator machine thing in FL
That thing was pretty damn pimp! :YEAH Look like a blast too. I've seen one guy try it, and he couldn't walk after he got off! But as far as "learning how to wheelie" on it, I think it would be a step backward. If you "learned" how to wheelie on that, you would most definatly fall flat on your *** in the real world.
They also told me "No filming"...
Okay first off, WHAT THE ****!?!!! NO FILMING?? IT'S FRIGG'EN STUNTWARS, EVERYONE'S FILMING!! EVEN MTV!
Fortunatly, I got enough footage and photo's to include in my **FREE** stuntwars video I'm making and to build one of my own. Which I just might do now.

Re: wheelie simulator machine thing in FL
the only problem i see whith the whole setup is how many times do you bring up a 12 and the bike comes straight up. the what that is set up you could have five fat b!tches eatin cheese burgers on the left pegs and still clutch a wheelie strate up and ride it out without having to worry about falling to the left or right mabe i am talking out of my a$$ but i think that the only thing you will help with that contraption is throdle control. pimp *** idea and i kinda wanna jump on it just to see what it would feel like! :YEAH if they ever bring it to wisconsin HOLLA!
just my

The idea was kinda cool, but it really dosen't teach you anything, it just keeps you from falling over.
