Thank You Tim @ Freestyle Ingenuity

Yo, just wanted to say this guy is awesome. He is one of the only event sponsors of stuntfest that gave me the time of day when I asked a question. I stunt pretty seriously and plan on being a major threat in future competitions but, Im young and look it. Most venders just turn their head at the sight of an 18 yr old kid walkin up to them talkin about anything serious. Not only was he very insightful but he was happy to answer my questions. My hats off to Tim and the rest of freestyle ingenuity for quality customer service. OTHER VENDERS SHOULD TAKE NOTICE TO THEIR EFFORTS!! :YEAH

I would never knock anyone that I dont know, so I can't agree or disagree about tim and FI ....

BUT, to say that NO ONE else was helpful AND 905 = bullshit

there were plenty of vendors there that were very informational and helpful ... ESPECIALLY 905. You obviously did not talk to the 905 people, cause you wouldn't be talking like you are if you had. It's all good to give props, but it aint cool to give the " " to a company who is probably the MOST helpful out there, and that you never really spoke with in the first place

dude .. I aint into the forum bickering either, and that's not what I was doing. All I was saying was that it's one thing to give props to someone, but it's another thing to give someone props and then talk down on someone who you have NO idea about. That's it. I said that I could make no opinion about FI, and I didn't .....and I just think that you should have done the same for 905 and just stuck to giving props to FI instead.

Re: Tim at freestyle ingenuity

I delt w/ Tim last year & again this year for a 12 bar for my fiddy. LIke you said - I had a question about the bar - he told me & showed me all the **** that took him all the time to design - that fiddy 12 bar is the ****. hands down.

I also had the pleasure of talkin to one of the owners of 905 for quite some time. real nice guy. I broke my cage in 1/2 in a crash & he offered to weld it back to gether for me - not even one of his cages - one i home made.

market yourself...getting sponsorships and people to help you is NOT about what you can get from them, but what YOU can do for them!!

dont tell potential sponsors how good you are, blah, blah, blah...they want to know what you are going to do for them...how much of their product you think you can sell, how much brand recognition you will bring them..

too many people go about sponsorship the wrong way, you have to establish a relationship with your 'sponsor'...
