Re: Surfboard grip on tank?

I think the surfboard grip works really well on the tank. It doesn't tear up your pants like sandpaper type griptape. Just buy a kit made for surfboards and cut it down as needed and stick it on (becareful when sticking it to the tank, because this stuff has some heavy duty sticking power and is a b*tch to reapply if misplaced).

You can usually get the surfboard grip kits at any local surfboard shop and some sporting good stores carry them. You can also get them online at a variety of places. Heres a link to one:

Re: Surfboard grip on tank?

what the **** man, is the object of this sport to look as dirty as fukin possible. It is actually cool on this website to look like a fukin scumbag. Why would you do anything with ripped clothes that look like they're from the salvation army... Just cause you give a **** about not lookin dirty doesn't make you a glama stunna....and besides all that...how did something that cleveland say get so popular..holy **** "glama stunna"? thats almost as bad as gangsta.

Re: Surfboard grip on tank?

whatever fools ... when did I say stunting is about looking "dirty" and like a "scumbag"??? ..... and when the f*uck did I say anything about "ripped" or "torn" pants???? what I DID say since you guys didn't read it the first time was:

"but we're worried about a little wear on some jeans that you ride in??"

A LITTLE WEAR IN JEANS THAT YOU RIDE IN ..... hhmmmm, sounds to me like I said, 'why the f*uck would you go stunting (meaning tearing up the streets/spot AND tearing up your bike(s)') and care what kind of pants you have on? I was referring to the MINDSET of "supposid" stunters. IMO, a tru stunter does not give a F*uck about his/her clothes when they go out to STUNT. EXAMPLE: playing street basketball with all brand new clothes/gear/necklace/shoes/cologne, ect ... that **** = glamma. If you're a tru baller, then you go out in something you dont give a f*uck about and just play. You dont worry about the GLAMMA side. You know you're gonna get sweaty and dirty, so dress appropriate. Same for STUNTING ... if you're gonna be tearin it up, droppin the bike, ect ... DRESS APPROPRIATE. If you want to go on a dinner date or something on your bike, you aint gonna be sitting on the tank and stunting anyways, so you can wear some decent **** .... but there is NO tru stunter who makes sure they have the 'freshest' gear on before they go to the spot. The few that do, may be referred to as GLAMMA

If you're worrying about the CLEANEST way to stunt and dent tanks and **** ... you got issues. You want to have your cheesecake and eat it too?? You want to look all nice and glammma?? then get a bike to look "decent" on, and get a bike that you actually stunt and dont worry about too much. If you can't afford it, then at least get yourself some "after school clothes" to ride in ...

Re: Surfboard grip on tank?

I agree with what your saying but I still dont feel like f**king up anything when there is a way around it im not going to drop my bike on purpose but if it happens no big deal. My tank is already dented because all gsxr got some weak *** tanks but it seem to me that surf board grip is going to work alot better then a 1in indent on a metal tank.

Re: Surfboard grip on tank?

actually, a true "baller" has the whole package. looks good and rips **** up at the same time.. This is the only sport where people are dumb enough to throw $11,000 out the window by trashing motorcycles.. Yup, we sure are a smart bunch. By the way, did anyone on this board graduate highschool. lol.

Do you guys even wear clean underwear? Or does that have holes in it also.....
