Juicing Up The Front End

My bike has 40 000 kms on it and the fork oil and seals was never changed and the front tire has a little less than half its life left. I dont have a lot of money to throw and wanted to get a steering damper for stunting and stoppies. I probably wont be able to afford it all this summer so what should I do get the damper stunt and stoppie the thing anyway or get a new tire and change the oil. I was considering getting a Scotts which cost quiet a bit of money so would there be a cheaper damper thats still good and I could still afford the tire, oil, and seals.

Re: Juicing Up The Front End

fork seals and tire will make more of a difference than a damper. you can get a pretty good front tire on ebay for like 50 bucks or 100 at parts411.com and then the oil and seals can be done yourself or have done at a shop for roughly 60 bucks. a damper can be found on ebay for around 100-200 bucks so your best bet it the tire and oil because it will help more. you really only need a damper when your rolling 100ft plus. also you dont even have to do that some guys are rolling 400+ without a damper (dlish ur a pimp)

Also if you are looking for a quick and cheap fix. just put steel braided brake lines and it will have less give and be better for endos.
