Re: Your experience with the 905 cage

look at a picture of one close. Can you see a problem with your shins getting fukked up? I'm sure they would save your bike but it doesn't look user friendly, think about it.

Re: Your experience with the 905 cage

I rode a 929 with a 905 on it and hated it, as soon as I got on it I felt the cage against my shins, a couple minutes of riding it and I had hit my shins hella times, you stall out a circle or something and your shins are gonna get it! Get a F.I!!

Re: Your experience with the 905 cage

mxd cages are like 905, exept there is no bar stiking out to hit your shins on.

I love 905 on my 02 gsxr600 Telefonica, a brused shin is better than a busted case anyday, but I cant stunt so whatever....

Re: Your experience with the 905 cage

I have 905 and I put one on my buddies 02 GSXR tonight. In 2 rides I got used to the shin busting and avoid it... My buddy hit his shins more than a couple times tonight doing burnouts but in a short time period you dont hit them anymore. I say rock it.

something has got to break. i'd take broken motor mounts (which is an easy, easy fix), over smashed case covers, stators, clipons, levers, frames, tanks, engine cases, footpegs, etc. add that up, and see what you get.

I don't even know how some of you guys afford to keep stunting you crash so effing much...everybody wants their cage to protect everything, all the time, with nothing ever breaking...it is just not gonna happen.
