Honda losing my respect.
honda changed the f4i and is brining back the banana seat!!!
WHY WHY WHY WHY!!!!
i had a conversation with a buddy just the other day about how i didn't think anyone would ever bring it back after they switched but i was wrong!!!!
this is like when your girlfriend suddenly stops humming while she gives you head. its just not the same anymore!!!
between that and the plastic tanks and cheaply made 1000rr i am losing some repsect for my beloved honda

Re: Honda losing my respect.
The F4i is a pretty formidable opponent to the RR, so Honda needs to differentiate from the sporty appearance of the 01-02-03 F4i to inflate the sales of the 600RR, the banana seat is supposedly more comfortable for sport touring.... and a damned grab bar?

Re: Honda losing my respect.
the f4i will more than likely turn into honda's version of the katana, but nicer.
it's going to be a more sport touring bike since they have the 600rr for a race bike. don't need 2 "race" bikes out there.

Merk knows that for a fact from my bike. Silicone was in there for 6mths and never dried. Finally let the ring slide and about killed him.

Re: Honda losing my respect.
its cool to just silicone becaues it puts that adden danger into never knowing when your engine might shut off. i think its fun personally. you can always make a pool and set dates deciding when it will prolly decide to go. its mad fun.

Re: Honda losing my respect.
Well no one commented on the plastic tanks so I will. All of the BIG name brands will all eventually be doing that because they are marketing the racing field not the stunting. I don't see Honda sponcering any stunt teams and catering to there every need because no one is buying $10,000 bikes at the dealer ships to beat the **** out of in 2 days or less. We are all cheap *** mo fo's and will buy the already wrecked and older cheap bikes to stunt not brand new ones. (or at least most of us do that who don't have lots of money) Therefore HONDA will continue to find ways of dropping weight off the bike and making a plastic tank is one way of doing so. As far as I'm concerned I LOVE HONDA and that won't change no matter what they do, (unless the start putting gsxr motors in them ) and will some day buy another one :YEAH

Re: Honda losing my respect.
The f4i took a back seat to thr RR...so don't expect it to shine too brightly, and prolly soon die out. I hope not, cuz its a good bike. As for honda using the bannana seat... I'd kill whoever did that... GHEY. But um.... the plastic tanks.... those are good.... the tops are dummy tanks, the real ones sit lower than any other motorcycle, this gives it a lower center of balance whi is well..... awesome.
