Dude, is this trick for real?

Dude, is this trick for real?
I saw this post on the sportbikes.net forum. Bunny hopping a sportbike on flat grond. Is this for real? Has anyone heard of this? I really can't believe it. I'm not saying I don't think it's possible. It's just so hard to picture doing this in my head. Maybe I'm behind or something, but is this a new trick or something?

I've seen that what hes describing happen by accident when someone ****s up and slams a twelve down real hard.
I think its possible. You would have to bring up a wheelie real fast and when its still moving up hit the rear brake as you throwing all your waight forward over the front of the bike.

Wasn't sayin your boy was f@ckin up. I was refereing to what the the guy that clamed he could bunny hop the bike.
I saw the pics and what he descriped sounded similer to when someone mousetraps a twelve and has the rear wheel lift off the ground a little. just not as extreem.

I've done it on my 9RR a couple of times going down the rode jumping up and down. A buddy of mine can do it pretty good on his R1 but he does it using acceleration. That **** is

The way I do it it is from like 2mph or so like if I was going to do a regular slow wheelie then I shift my weight to the front + Hit the rear break & Kaboom There it is.

Re: Dude, is this trick for real?
You do need to hit the rear brake shortly after you clutch it and as the bike is going up. How high you want to bonnie hop it depends how high you get the rpms before you clutch it. Do make sure to hit the break & start with low RPM's. Be safe.
