Dead stunt bike
I'm -2/+20 and i keep my idle up at 4000 rpms. Ever since i've been doing this, it seems like the bike drains its battery. I'll turn my bike off everytime i'm waiting for my turn, and about 6 or 7 times later from doing that, the bike is totally dead. (this is from a new battery)
Do you think it is the idle draining it? Or is it something else?
please

Re: Dead stunt bike
are you coming to ride with us in austin this weekend? Bring that clapped bitch down here and we will figure out what is wrong with it.. lmao. I had a similar problem a while back and I had fried my stator. The gixxers, particularly the 750s are bad about burning up stators. If you look at a bad one you will see burn marks all over it. I have an extra stator and rectifier.
Its possible that starting/stopping it so much is draining the battery since the stator doesnt really put any charge on the battery until 5K+ rpms but I kinda doubt it. I think its time to bust out the multimeter and the manual.

Re: Dead stunt bike
Yeah my piece is acting up. lol I'm about to put this bike out of it's misery. I saw on the weather channel that it is suppose to rain on saturday. Are those other people still going down to austin? I don't care if it rains, we can still bust out the slow sh*t

Re: Dead stunt bike
haha. It doesnt look like the cats from corpus are coming anymore. Some of the guys from san antonio might still be coming and I dunno if keith from code blue is coming or not, I'll give him a call tonight but I doubt he's coming either. I am down to ride.. sunday looks good the high is in the 60s and only a 10% chance or rain.
