Tim, whats up with the fiddy bars?? Only reason I ask is cause I went 12 on mine and bent the two bars that run under the fender.. seems to me that the fiddy frame is to delicate to be taken 12.. especially with added leverage of a 12 bar!?!?

Anyways, what i mean is, where would a fifty 12 bar attach? the two bars that run under the seat back to the fender are very thin and as I mentioned bend pretty easily. I'm asking you because I am looking for a bar currently for mine, and am a possible customer for FI

So you gotta cut the bars for the 929s and reweld them?

when it was on my 900rr I cut a good 4-5" off it so it could stand at a true 12.

if you see here it wasn't hitting 12 (this is Pre chopping of the bar). this pic is mad old!

I made an exact template but, slightly narrower for my 929. Its a little further back than my 900 so i had somewhere to put my foot.

12 bars

I've got a gsxr 750 and just picked up an FI 12 bar and also noticed that it does not sit up at a perfect 12. I'm just curious why they aren't made to be at true 12? Please don't take this the wrong way but I just thought I'd ask.
