I can certainly understand the frustration caused by unnecessary drama, arrogant remarks, and other BS that may come of a popular forum. Maybe as people get bigger they let it get to their head. But I think you kind have to expect that. It come comes with the territory.

Keep in mind though that there are a lot of people watching from the sidelines. People who are inspired and motivated watching the stunt shows. People who may not be pros, but really appreciate the sport. I'm one of those people.

Since I've been on this site I've learned a lot. Even more importantly I found a lot of support which has helped me improve. It's good to have a place where you know other people appreciate/support what you do especially those at the top of the game.

One of the greatest parts about this site is that some of the biggest names in the game are actually members. They actually interact with the site members and give great advice to the beginners like myself. To me that means a lot and really encourages me to improve my riding. It is great to be able to learn from and interact with some of the best riders. It makes a no-name like myself actually feel like I'm part of the sport and not just someone who hasn't "made it".

I think that this is really important for those of us who are just starting out. It would really be a real shame for all the bigger names in the sport to just back out of this site because of a handful of A-holes that happen to be members. Focus on what you have done for the site and stunting. Don't let some lame posts here and there ruin it for yourself and those of us who actually are trying to learn and appreciate stunting.

Ultimately the choice is up to you. But don’t forget that this is the only real connection for the many “low-profile” riders who appreciate what you guys do. Don’t overlook those of us that watch from the other side of the fence.

All the stunteams on here w/ an account has a password for one board where the teams can talk to ea. other w/o the bs of posers or trouble makers. The board would be able to be read by all but only the actual teams can post.

Works for me ...Now get to work.....Send me some stickers(free)
He has already done that awhile back, however nobody ever posts in there. CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THAT FORUM.....IF YOU HAVE A TEAM BOARD AND ARE A MODERATOR OF YOU BOARD.

#1. what started out as a great way for freinds from lands far appart to communicate with eachother. has now turned into a teen center for kids with seveer attension disorders, to try to feel better by making someone they don't even know feel worse.

#2 what started out as a good place to expose a great product & busness opportunity, has now made every maintenence man with a set of wrenches & a torch think they own a manufacturing plant.

#3 a forum that once was filled with great information is now rotting with negitive energy and decayeng from the inside out.
everyday i talk to other PRO stunt riders "my peers" and hear their reasons for withdrawling from the message boards.

I'm not a stunt rider. I visit this site to obtain info about the latest stunts,(which are awesome even though I don't do 'em) equipment, and upcoming shows or events. So I guess you could say I'm kinda nuetral on the drama that comes across this site. Ant is right on the money, in my opinion. I have had the opportunity to meet Tony through a mutual friend and spent a good deal of time with him while he was in Texas. Not just an afternoon at the airport, but "real" time spent away from stuntin', showin' off, or hangin' with the guys. I have read this entire thread and it shows just as much now, as it has in the past, how much people like to spread drama on this site. It's detrimental to the sport, this site, and the people that make thier living advertising here. There are alot of people that depend on "word of mouth" and internet sales to try and get better exposure to the sport and feed their families at the same time. The the people that get on here and bash teams, companies, or anyone else, just 'cause they heard about them from another drama queen that has a beef, are killing the rest of the good quality avenues of information for everyone else. I hope the good info keeps flowing and the drama queens can keep it to themselves so those of us that surf for good, honest, unbiased info can get it.

Well....IMO no one should be bitchin.

And if youre tying to do buisness and worried about signatures being gone. Who are you selling to if you are only talking to other Pro riders?

The other Pro riders are only going to buy so much but they have sponsors also. It's the so called dumbass newbies who are gonna buy or support your chit. FOR REAL=NO B.S.

Need a board that team riders only can communicate on,not just Mods...that everyone can read and learn from. Your sponsors will be read at the end of your posts as signatures.

This should help and I feel would be a Positive move for everyone.

Im with Darius on this one too. This place, as full with BS as it is, is still the #1 place to go for anyone to go for info on the freestyle world. Where are the comps? Look here. How do i fix this/set this up on my bike? LOOK HERE! Where can i get in contact with "Super Pro Guy"? LOOK HERE! You get the point. SO what if there are annoying people/BS on here, ignore it. It's a place that i still learn from! and get to talk to friends that live far from me. Take the good with the bad i guess, but IMO the good on here FAR outweighs the bad!

i think the sport has reached a plateau and that is why nothing has been happening...there just isnt **** to say or talk about other then people hanging out...no shows nothing to do..stuntlife is a good site but i dont think limiting stunt discussion to approved post only is gonna help with quality...most people want questions answered fast not wait for approval...so **** it they go look at ******* in chick pics instead

I agree with alot of the posts in this thread. Positive or negative everyone is right in their own way. I personally was getting into this sport on my own with noone there to look up to and get motivation from, then I found Stunlife and found there are many top notch stunters right here in my home town. Hopefully I will be able to step it up next year because of this, but it would not be possible without this site

I feel everyones point and love all ya'll and ain't directing anything to anyone, just saying how i feel.
Ant, you have def. put enough work and in my eyes are one of the best riders and one of the people that has and will push our sport further. wish you wouldn't take everything so serious, but your cool with me.
as long as theres people like kyle, gorke, ant, darius, and a few others, it;s gonna be alright!!!!!!!!!! *** the negativity, florida has been the one place that has avoided it so far, why start paying attention now...........i try to stay strait up with everyone and if people can't handle it......... OH WELL

I think Stuntlife is comparable to a city in some ways. It's inevitable that there will be psychos, murderers, and hookers as well as good citizens, celebrities, and scholars as the population increases. It was only a matter of time before more of the rotten people showed up and started opening their mouths. I've definitely learned a lot about what my motorcycle is capable of and what I'm capable of and I thank everybody at stuntlife that shared their skills with me. I just keep an open mind when I read things.

The internet is a release for a lot of ignorant and stupid people because of the elimination of physical confrontation making it a lot worse that the REAL world when it comes to places where people are free to speak their minds, which is just about everywhere. (damn that was a long sentence)

~Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.

~Do not believe in something simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
~Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in religious books.
~Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders but when, after observation and analysis, you find anything that agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it, and live up to it.

Besides everything else, You get to learn everyones personalities on this site. It changes ones perspectives about people, for good or bad. This Site makes all newbies either loose or gain respect towards experienced Stunt Riders by reading these kind of posts + all other controversial posts. It is one's responsability to try to make sure that controversial posts like this one do not hit the boards to try to keep this site a "Fun & Learning" place for all newbies & fans to read, ask & learn from the experienced riders; Learn about Stunting that is, Not about who one hates, what one Dislikes or agrees on. In order for it to be that a fun place again, I believe the posts should be kept to stunting, advertising yourselves, Video Posting, etc.
I personally sit here & think about this one & I will be honest as usual, Most of the controversial posts seem to be started or provoqued by the riders called "Pros" saying what trick is gay or not, who they like or do not like. If The Pro's do not like controversial posts they should not start them or make irrelevant comments on some of the posts of which some new people to the sport are proud to post to show or talk about how they feel like Superman by being able to do a high speed fly by. Everyone starts somewhere. Every one likes to feel good about themseves "Novice or Experinced riders". No one likes remarks that brings one down, once again & basing myself on some of these posts "Novice or Experinced riders".

Ant:
This sport would not have been where it is If the more experienced riders like yourself, Kyle, Joe & many of the other riders that you talk about would have isolated yourselves to back roads & away from these boards & not posting videos, etc. Is this as far as the sport will allow the fans to come into?? Is this the time where the more experienced riders say " We are tired of general public & new riders so We are isolating Ourselves" or Perhaps "New People Go Away, You are bothering us" & the fans & general public gets offended & does go the other way. What kind of contribution to the sport is that? How much larger is the sport going to be able to grow when people that learn from the more experienced riders can't see anything becuase the experienced riders turned the lights out? I think that they will go somewhere else. Is that what the experienced riders want??
Experienced riders should set the examples. Good ones that is, They should not start contrversy if that is not what they want. That is what people see & believe you me, most of the people here like to be be on the edge either by running away from cops, doing high speed fly by's, Fighters, Adrenaline junkies, etc. Its a world of competitive one wheeled crazy people that like being on the edge. For nerds that do not like contrversy there is libraries. The sport have not attracted that crowd just yet. And as compared to a few years ago, there is many more riders on this site, therefore controversy, competition & disagreements are bound to happen. We should all do as best as we could specially by keeping contrversial posts away from boards or else lets just not complain about it.
We are all in it " well not all" for the love of the feeling of a 2 wheel or 1 wheel fast or slow moving object being controlled by how much experience or skill one has.

in my opinion theres three types of riders in what we call "the stunt community"

1. the pro's....the guys who know it all and can do it all.
2. the people who want to be pro's, and put in everything they got, and work hard everyday.
3. People who just wanna ride....don't care about about videos, or publicity or being known, marketing, competitions.....

Either way Stuntlife still rocks and is my favorite site.....regardless of pointless threads, drama, ego's, and other bullshit.
