merry chistmas from suzuki (update page 2)

how bout that? any suggestions as to how to go about fixin this and reinforcing it? im without a clue. the tabs not only broke off but also bent. time for a honda.

Just have that welded back on and plates welded to both sides of them. Damn!, you must ahve hit that **** HARD! I broke the top off of one of mine and it's a newer one that is weaker.

believe it or not i was doing a no hander then i put my hands back on my clips and i felt my foot move in my bar. the bar didnt touch the ground all night long. weird.

what's the chances you could post a pic of ur whole subframe... i'm looking for ideas for a 12 bar for my bike.

that sux majorly... hopefully you'll be able to get that shiznit straigtened out. I'm definitely thinking that a cross bar or maybe trying to do a fill or something in the slotted section may help for next time.

that sucks man. i think that is the first time i have seen a frame on a bike brake that didnt hit the ground hard. i would jsut have it welded. they are supposed too be stronger then the actual metal when welded correctly

This is what i would do. its an easy fix. or just get a honda

thanks for the input. im heading monday to a structural welder dude thats gonna try to see what he can do off the clock. i'll post pics if its a success, otherwise im smashing my computer and punching myself in teh face for stunting this bike.
