what javier said...i run a 954 rad. on my RR so it is always on and i notice that my bike runs about 15-20 degrees cooler just because i never shut it off...

put the fan on a switch and then just leave it on whenever you are going to be doing anything besides normal riding...

I have the same problems with my 750. I ended up installing another fan so I have 2. The second one is wired up with a switch so I just flip it on when I practice the burnies.

Maybe all you need is to clean your Cooler. Otherwise a Stronger Fan (or a second one should help you out).

I got a 00 750 I hot wired my radiator fan to a switch so I can turn it all the time especially small parkn lot shows. But.... remember to turn it on before you start. When I first installed the switch I would forget to turn it on then I would look at the temp and it would be @ 270 or somethin after 10 minutes of ridin.

HAHHAHAHAHA ... that's beat ...

anyways, I got a few 750s and the ones that i use JUSt for slow ****, I just hooked the fan power to constant power, so the joint is ALWAYS on. That's 2 fan thing is a pretty good idea too. Clean out your system with fresh coolant and then re-wire the joint so it is on sooner, or always

Here's the Fix.... Trust me this will Fix the whole problem.

1. Make sure your radiator is totally clean and functional.

2. Go to the store and buy water wetter or blue ice water treatment.

3. Drain the engine and radiator completly of any anti-freeze and refill with just water and the water wetter or blue ice.

4. Wire up the fan so it comes on immeditly as soon as you start the bike.

5. Doing some endos will help also... But the above should help you out completely.....

I'm ruinning, "Engine Ice" coolant, with a little "watter wetter" additive....

Wire the fan to stay on and you should be good. Don't forget the 20-50 V-Twin, Mobil 1 oil overfilled by a quart.... It'll save your engine.

The only reason I say to drain the anti-freeze out is because I use to drag race on a professional circuit and by taking the anti freeze out it keeps it cooler about 10 degrees.... just my experience.. but if you live some where were it is cold dont take the anti-freeze out because your block will crack!!!!
