Gorka spoke ! now let this sink in !

Oh, one more thing. This may sound harsh, but it needs to be said: Many of you have more to worry about than hand brakes and big sprockets. Many have overlooked the fundamentals of the sport. The NSRA is geared for the well rounded rider: Burnouts, Stoppies, Controlled (slow) wheelies and freestyle. There were a large number (more than half of the competitors) that couldn't even get their rear tire started for a burnout, let alone make it through the course. I won't even mention the freestyle burnout section. Pitiful. Still can't go 100ft for your stoppie? Does your slow wheelie look like it belongs on the highway? I'd suggest you practice a little more. I wouldn't call myself a boxer if all I had was a mean right hook. Needless to say, your fight for the title won't last long unless you go back and learn to jab.

finally someone said it.
no offense to florida riders, but i know a lot of people from there brag about being awsome cause they can do 12's.....i'm not the greatest stunter, but ****, even I can fill every category of stunting, might not be "da ****" in each one, but i can do every category listed and at least not look too much like **** in each one.
i laugh at people that have just one thing for them and think they are the ****, now, they might be in that one thing, but that doesnt' make you "god".
this is very well put

it seems like this has always been the case, some guys just focus on one aspect of stuntin whether 12's or combo wheelies or stoppies or whatever. Its never been an issue in past comps because you can pick and choose what events you want to enter and which you don't. IMO the NSRA's way of making the events a package deal is only good for the sport. If you want to do well you must be able to do it all, and well. For those that can already knock $hit down no matter what event, you're a step ahead. lata s

amen, that's what i'm talkin about! no disrespect, but if you can do circles until the camera guy gets dizzy, but dont know where the front brake is, thats a problem. i'd rather be good at everything then great at just one thing.
