I've got a 02 gixxer 1k, the thing is mint and never been beat on till this week. Sold my stunt bike and started to stunt my 1k, trying 12's yesterday and after that ( fist one )my fuel system is shutting down about 5 grand. It's find before and after 5 g's.
Any ideas what's up with it.

pull it apart and fill it with silicone.... make sure the ring is sitting dead center when you do

Also if that doesnt fix it... I had this problem lift the gas tank up and make sure you dont have the fuel line that goes from the tank to the throttle bodies... Make sure it doesnt have a kink in it....

the tip over switch fo sho ..... it's a little black box and it's attatched to the very front of the rear fender in front of the battery. There are 2 small black boxes in this location, but the tip over switch is the one that has the word "upper" with an up arow on the outside of it .... open it up, and surround that metal ring with silicone ... make sure it's dead center, and it's not touching any of the sides of the box
