Oh by the way i dont know anyone rocking thumb brake...its a normal brake lever...its like you have two clutch levers. And my boys just made theres...had to get a little innovative to make it work thers nothing out there that you can buy that works very well...people making theres from scratch. Some people just hooking brake lever to your rear foot brake and it just pulls on that..but that doesnt work that great. You need dual rear calipers to get a good rear brake

Check out the two calipers

Kawasaki 929rr's kick ***!Sweet brake set up. Can you use a front brake lever/mastercyclinder on the left side just mounted upside down with a remote resevoir clamped to it or do you use some kind of hydraulice clutch lever mated to a brake line?

so look here....if pro road racers use thumb brakes and super motard riders use thumb brakes and they bolt right up..........are you telling me that they dont work? think about it the thumb brake wont get in the way and has its own master cylinder and runs through the foot brake.........so ya dont have to mount a extra caliper on your bike!......i think the reason you guys are putting a xtra caliper on your bike isnT cause you need it.........its BECAUSE you cant figure out how to make the lever work with the foot brake
jus so everyone knows the thumb brakes come in 3 different types ranging from 250-500 bucks
a thumb brake makes perfect sence and it is placed on your thumb so you can still use your clutch lever
i got one on order ill keep ya posted

I did a search on Google for thumbrakes and I got these sites:
http://www.dynobike.com/brakes.htm
http://www.cyclebrakes.com/thumb-brakes.htm
http://www.gptechllc.com/products.html
The third one is the best site I found and have the parts for the complete setup. The only problem I see with this type is that the lever looks too big. I was thinking of something a bit smaller like a 4-wheeler thumb throttle.

I hear that you dont get enough leverage with thumb brake, and that a lever is better,

Hey Mark_mpz is yours a thumb brake or a lever?

I understand what you are saying about the hand break, but I don’t look at it the same way as you. To be a good team or a good rider you must be at the bar when it comes to riding, we must kep trying to push it to the next level, but you are looking at the hand break as not cheating and it IS!. If you can not do it on a stock bike then it is cheating. Any thing I do on my bike I can do on a stock bike! Why do I take air out of my tire, have a 12 bar, cages, cut exhaust, to make it easier on myself, but that does not mean I cannot ride with out it? In every motor sport you can only do so much to the car, bike, or boat before you are "cheating". I feel that "hand breaks", "dirt bike bars", and "20 up" sprockets are cheating (if your 1000cc bike can not go on the highway and do the speed limit then that is too much). If you are going to do that then go join the Circus. I ride STREETBIKES not CIRCUS BIKES. Stunting has to have rules, if you cannot do it on a stock bike then you should not do it. I.e. if you have to add a hand break to do stunt then, you should not do it……. Can you do THAT trick with out the hand break, YES YOU CAN!!! Doing the trick without the hand break is an EVOLUTION OF THE SPORT!!!!!

I rode stock bikes for years--- I mean bone stock!! NO sprockets 12 bar nothing--- As the sport has evolved so have I, I got sprockets db bars hand brake, all that ****---If anyone feels they can do what I do better than me with the way the bike is set up feel free to get your head chopped off. My bike is a FREESTYLE Motorcycle anybody can go and buy a bike off the floor and ride it.
But to set one up the way you want it is a diffrerent story...BOTTOM LINE--Dont hate ----appericiate---- cause Ill get on your stocker with your girl and rip the **** out of it
