second when i get it up there i am doing like 10-15 mph already how do i slow that down? secondly i was wondering why when i get to about 10:30-11:00 the bike sways left and right it is kind of hard to exlain am i doing somthing wrong i ride a 94 900rr...

ok here goes......... the bike wobbles cause your wobbling kinda?
your shifting your weight back an forth from peg to peg probably, it might be slight and you dont even know it but think of how your body reacts when you try to stand and balance on a rope or somethin really skinny.........your feet go goofy ya know
make sure you got like 10 psi in your back tire........thatll make the tire ride on the hard side walls almost like riding on a rim only.
slowing down is another, problem try this.......either get a 12 started and get to the balance poiint then set your foot on the brake the bike should start to fall but if you get a little more gas then itll stay at the balance point...........then you can start modulating betweek brake and gas to position the bike
its like ridin down the st and ridin the brake all the time if ya wanna go faster you can get more gas or let up on the brake a little
itll seem weird at first cause youill find yourself givin it gas and hammering on the rear brake at the same time till you get comfy then itll be more balance than anything then the next step will be coaster wheelies so instead of using the gas to keep the bike past balance point youll use your body and balance and counter with the brake
this is hard to xplane but hope this helps
btw please tell me you gotta 12bar

how much sense does that make.....think about it
lets assume you dont have a bar and its your first time doin 12s.....most people like myself didnt know how to use the rear brake and control a 12 so.........would you rather hit a squared off bar that the bike will stand up on without you on it
or a ROUND tail that the bike wont stand up on
if you know the bike will sit up on a bar the only thing you have to worry aout is hitting straight or close to straight then hitting the brake
truthfully i never used the brake when i started doin 12s but the bar was out far enough so the bike would come back down after i let off the gas
i started doing 12s on the rear pegs
then digity showed me the front peg rear peg stance and then i learned to use the brake
after that i started making the bar closer to my taillight till i couldnt go any further and thats that
12s all day
if you get the first terrortekniks vid it has the first time i ever hit the bar

rear peg 12's....so gansta.
and anyways, you wobble because the bike wants to fall left and right when it's up that high and it doesn't have the momentum to keep it up like in a fast wheelie. it takes a wihle to get used to the slight shifts in weight you have to make. i'm learning this sitdown now and i keep falling right or left and that's cause i'm not used to the wieght shift while sitting down.
and yes, to slow it down you have ot bring it further back and let off hte throttle and slowly ease into the brake.
about the 12 bar, i look at it this way, if you mess up and go back too far maybe even really hard, you hit the bar the bike stops and falls forward (or on it's side which sucks). if you don't have a bar, usually the tail crunches up and the bike flips back on top of you. i'd rather it not come on top of me.

Try idling you bike up to. I like 3500-4000 on my stock geared
01 zx6r. Next turn about 6000 then just drop th clutch. keeping
your rear brake in mind and keep your left leg straight. I run
about 15lbs of air on a 207 dunlop. lots and lots of pratice.
remember you want th bike up from near stopped in as short of
a distance as possible.

yes go gears. -1+4 sounds good. no bar. softer hit, bar throws you if you hit it too hard especially if u catch an edge.. ouch. i learned w/ a bar and yes i caught an edge. no fun. i learned offset stand up. everyone is differnet, some people like sitdowns. RR are good for parking on the tail w/ no bar. i did it on Dirty B's first time on it.
here it is:
yes gearing. not too tall -1+4 is good
no bar
stand up offest in my opinion but whatever you are comfortable w/.
and yes crunching tial is an awesome sound.
good luck

the 900 has a damn strong tail. i'd park & drag it on the plastics w/ the clutch & off the brake.
did the same on my F4i. 30 mph scrape to park. tail light's all over the place. its a gorgeous site
