The bar keeps rising....
Me and one of my stunt riding friends(Pepe) were talking on the phone tonight about how SICK riders are getting just in the past 2 years. We thought that most of the new teams are getting so good so fast, that they are learning harder tricks than ever, that the BAR IS RISING FAST!!!
I know it will never end, riders will try to create new tricks til the end of time, but here's what I want to know from all of you.
How do the Starboyz keep up with all these hungry young teams??????
As Matt Gorka once said, "you have to be the best or the first"....this is SO TRUE. And if you're the best, how soon will you get knocked off the pedestal.
Your thoughts?

its still boring *** slow wheelies that gain little public recognition. i aint knockin it cause i love doin slow tricks. stunting is a hobby and light years away from being a recognized sport. sad but true. think hard before you flame my post.

Those are some pretty good views. I mean **** you can do this sorta thing for as long as you can twist the throttle. So the older you get into this kinda sport, which it is to the true at heart a sport, the better you get. Style is everything, you can allways learn new things and make them look that much better than the next guy.

But you forgot one thing CBO.............Finesse!!!! Doesn't that go hand-in-hand with style, grace, charisma, confidence, etc....
I think its the total package that is appealing when it come to a stunt team. How do you set your team apart from all the others, character thats how!!! You have to have character.
How do you get character you ask? By having the same wild hairstyles, and clothes and attitudes as your team mates.....LIKE THE STARBOYZ DO! But they oose confidence and charisma.....don't they!!!
But when it comes to tricks, you're right some stunters can do a trick but it is not smooth, its too jerky, it doesn't have finesse. Other stunters don't do the trick as well, but they have that finesse and style.....and they look cool because of it.
I could go on forever......so I'll just stop here! Thanks for posting.....keep it going!!!

I got your finesse right here
Just keepin' it goin' Goose!!
Seriously though, I couldn't agree with you guyz more. When you put it all together----style, finesse, the right amount of attitude, it works. That's just one more thing I love about this sport, we ride on teams but yet when we're in a groove it's like there's no one else around and that's when this becomes an individual sport to me. If that seems philosophical, I'm sorry
but hey what the hell right!

its gonna take a rider with tons of style and a rider who is well rounded.
Screw the slow ****. Everyone and there mom is doing it. But can you change it up. Can you turn nothing into something, can you add style, put new stuff together, have variety. Ive seen a lot of riders that rock some technical slow stuff but thats all they got. WELL ROUNDED RIDERS. Thats what its gonna take to go somewhere in this industry.

i agree with cbo and also belive if someone is confortable with the bike and what they are doing and having fun then they make it look good people who are just as good but dont have quite as much confidence and maybe a little jearky dont look as good as someone relaxed and having fun

just when you think that YOU raised the bar. ya come on stuntlife to see a someone doing a variation of the trick 2x sicker. But, thats what keeps me riding harder. I finally got sit down no handers for quite a while thinking im the man. Only to find a video of people doing sit down no hander circles. Pushes me to go beyond where I am.
its already been said, but whats most impressive is ones style. how smooth & perfected one does a trick or many of. I see some guys that only do 1 trick. so hung up on doing 1 thing, they lack variation. Circles seem to be what alot of riders get stuck on doing over & over & over again.
dont mind me, im already drunk. Please dis-regard this post.

its all about style and appeal...if you dont appeal to people nobody wants to look at you. its all about gettin the recodnition you deserve....so bring the style up and make the trick your own...thats what gets the attention.
