Question Fast Idle vs Choke.

What's the difference from spinning some wrenches and lifting da tank rather than hitting tha choke. don't be mean just wanna know, wet behind da ears in da service dept. by the way if it matter its a 01 gix 750.

i rigged a hose that comes out from under the gas tank to turn up my idle, that way i dont have to lift the tank. most bikes have idle ***** like that

The idle is way more consistant than the choke. Ever notice how you can have your choke all the way up then for some reason it will just slow down then you give it more gas and it goes back up to full. That is the best I can describe it. Also I think people with the newer gixxers are using the idle from the old ones like I have. I just have to reach down tot he left and it's right there.

order an idle cable for a 99 (or any srad year) gsxr 600/750 and then remove your idle screw and install the new idle cable and run it where u'd like it...my comes out by my front sprocket cover.

way more consistant then the choke
