Talking I Did A 12'v

WELL, I GOT MY BIKE OUT OF THE SHOP TUESDAY, I STARTED PRACTICING SLOW WHEELIES TODAY. ABOUT 30 MIN INTO IT I HIT 12!!!!!! OF COURSE IT CONTINUED PAST 12 AND NOW I HAVE A CRUNCHIES LEFT SIDE ENGINE COVER .
BUT THAT COOL IT WAS PRETTY CLOSE TO THE SHOP SO I RODE IT THERE . GOT THE WHOLE THING ON TAPE!!!
EXCEPT I ACCIDENTLYY RECORDED OVER IT LIKE A DUMB A$$ .


BUT I GOT A QUESTION WHAT AM I LOOKIN AT AS FAR AS A NEW COVER AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF????

stator covers usually run about $100 from the dealer. Get an aftermarket one, they are much stronger.

And stop taking it to the shop for everything unless your getting a discount. Get a manual and get some help from friends that ride.
I know some things might be out of reach to work on. But didnt you just have the bike in the shop for get sprockets on?

Weld it, sand it smooth, spray some flat black on it, and go on.

I've had mine welded for the entire season, and it hasn't given me any trouble at all.

Also, if you are going to do a little stuntin, get to know some tools, and stay away from the $48 per hour dealers.

I started with little things like oil changes and clutch cables, now, I won't take it to a dealer, period... It also helps to have friends that ride that spin wrenches, more then once I've laid out everything, needing to work on it, but didn't know what the fu I was doing, by the end of the day I'd have friends stop by and say "I know how to fix that." You learn a lot of stuff that way.

yep sounds like we all crashed doing 12v's, yall know about my accident doing it. I blew out my knee the first time i crashed, now i have an APPT to rebuild me acl and lcl and some other stuff on tues the 4th. so im not gonna be able to walk for like 2 months. but ya know what the point is i scraped and thta my friend makes it all worth it

and man id be happy to have a 48 dolalrs an hour shop around here, they get $92 an hour here.
