Maybe you say this prayer at church? It was recited at a funeral this summer for "Timmy" Stevenson. The kid's pastor was very good and found this online. I have it copied and on my wall(Note: I'm not religious, but really feel this because it's so true for all of us riders).

This is what he said......

"Jesus the Biker. It said, he was a lot like you and me. The government didn't like him. The church thought he was weird. His friends were few. What friends he had, denied him. He was persecuted by hypocrites. He hung around people like you and me, not for the goody-two-shoes pharisee's.

Yes, if jesus were on this earth in the flesh, he would be next to you on his motorcycle telling you he loved you.....enough to die for you. I also found a prayer patterned after the Lord's Prayer entitled 'Our Great MotorCycle.' It says.....

'Our one great Motorcycle, Which are in the garage,
Oiled by thy chain,
They acceleration come. They wheelies be done,
in first gear, as they are in second.
Give us this day our daily adrenaline rush.
And forgive us for our stoppies,
As we forgive those who are better at them than us.
And lead us not into decreasing radius corners,
but deliver us from high sides;
For thine is the handling, the power, and the glory.'"

Sorry this might've been a little off topic, but just made me think a little about things. We all need that every once in awhile.

No I say the real Lord's prayer, to the Lord. I don't understand how people are not religious especially in this sport, lol. If God's first in your life, then the rest will fall into place, so I would suggest praying a real prayer to the real Lord, not a biker prayer to whoever, lol. As I said these are my opinions and if it's written in humor then ignore it. RIP TIMMY STEVENSON
