smoking tyres

if you go out for a couple of hours a day to do rolling burnouts, do-nuts e.t.c. on say a 600 with 207gp's how many miles do you reckon you'd get out of them, if normal tyre life is 4.5k?

Tires last forever once you learn to use the edges....check that, BOTH edges.

i dont measure tyres by miles anymore but by days. 207's usually get about 2 sessions before they get killed. it all depends on how fast your spinning the rear. if your doing circles on a stock bike you will usualy wear a tyre out faster than if your geared depending on your skill level. once i geared my bike tyres started to last longer. just my 2 cents i could be wrong!

Jay Carnes will become famous soon enough
just dont blaze the hell outta it while doing donuts. If it smokes a ton doing donuts, ur spinnin it to fast, lay off the front brake some. It'll last a while - the 207 is a pretty strong tire.

ericgsxr is a decent person
I have Avons on right now, and I've gone the entire season on the same tire, as compared to 3 sets of dunlops last year.

The only big difference for me, other then the name brand, is less tire pressure this year.
