Plugged tire and tire pressure...

If I have a plugged tire, do I have to keep it above a certain tire pressure for the plug to maintain or can I go down to like 20psi SAFELY?

plug

no problem........the only time a plug will leak is when the tire is COMPLETELY bald and getting really thin; I have only had one plug leak in the last 2 years.
