Now, now boys. Settle down. Go have a fight in the playground after school. Just make sure you video it, it'd be bloody amusing!

NO you don't!! I take it you have stock gearing..if so, in 2nd ...A:slide your butt all the way back in the seat B: get going about 20MPH C: From here you'll have to bump the cluck and the front WILL come up. I have been stunting a SVS for over a year now. I have now gone up 3 in the rear and down 1 in the front. But before that I was all stock gears!! It's just in learning how YOUR bike handles and working with it.

the non faired SV650 version comes stock with one more tooth in the back than the S version. that, coupled with the extra weight of two headlights and a fairing and all the brackets, the non S version should be easier to wheelie. though i've never had a problem with the S.

all stock:

clutched 2nd:

Yup!! He is correct, but the only reason I cahnged my gearing was to make it eaiser to do stand still slow(10-15 mph) wheelies. It can be done either way, but the change makes it alot eaiser on me and the bike!

Maybe we should have a comp of who is the best on a SV. I'd travel to that one.

damn man, yall guys make it look easy. ive been trying to figure it out today, i think i just need to figure out the bouncing part of it a little better. i can get the front wheel to pop up just a little in 2nd by clutching and bouncing. but im having trouble getting the momentum from there. i guess i'll figure it out in time though. thanx for all of the advice, i'll post some pics when i get it down.
