954 vs gsxr1000

My friend tells me he can wheelie a 03 954 faster and easier then a 03 gsxr 1000. Were talking power wheelies, what does everyone else think. I heard the 954 has a broader balance point, but it onlytakes a flick of the wrist to power up a gsxr

Kyle_PBZ is a decent person
The 954 is not even close in the power department. It's not slow it's just not a 1000.

You could do 150 mph. wheelies on either of those bikes, but why would you want to?

What's the big deal about a few hp difference? By comparison, 600s are severly underpowered, yet there there are many guys stunting them. my

I love my 1000. It has awesome power and it comes with a steering dampner from the factory. The 954RR cost more but put's out less power. Go figure? But all in all, both bikes have advantages over each other in the stunt world.

Thank you for saying that. There probobly is not one person on this board that needs the few extra ponies from th G1K to stunt. I would go for a bigger balance point and a better bike overall with the 954. This is of course a biased opinion....

I've ridden em' both and found the 1k to be much easier to wheelie than the 954. I also think the 1k is more comfy. I like all the manufacturers bikes for different reasons, for easy power wheelies its definately the 1k.
