This thread will prolly get moved but neways I totally F***** up my quad I dont knwo what happened just doin normal 12 wheelies then turn it off to have a cigarette then start it and ride but somethign is not right.. It starts fine but it gets no power, it backfires lile no other and wont go any faster than liek 5 m.p.h and that is with it puttering???? What u guys think ? Piston Rings? Carb? Any ideas will help thanks alot

check the spark plug first, might be fouled. might not be the only problem...I don't know **** lol

MAYBE YOU NEED TO GET THE CARB CLEAN.SOME TIME THE DIRT MOVES IN SIDE THE CARBS.

no i had to sell my bike ...once i get back on my feet ill get another one....but im broke as hell now...so no riding til probally jan or february

mine was acting up like that. i had a bad CDI box
it was on a 400ex. i don't know if that'll help ya out.

NO i didnt leave it in the 12 positition yea some peopel said it maye be the piston rings i dono though im ganan check the carbs befor i do nethign else and i put in a new plug and oil too well se what happens thanks for teh posts

you fouled the spark plug, you need to change them more often because it is a 2 stroke.

its a 4 stroke and i put in a new plug ans its still wont work
