silly clutch question
hey ppl! just wondering how some of you position your fingers on the clutch while doing wheelies or just normal riding. I usually have all four fingers resting on the clutch lever and squeeze touching the grip with the lever. I'm trying to use only the index and middle finger on the clutch lever while the ring and pinky are on the grip. The problem with this is that the clutch lever doesn't go all the way in touching the grip. Will this damage the clutch in the long run? Should I stick to only two fingers? What's best for doing wheelies? Also, I was told that the '02 yzf R6's clutch lever can be adjusted so the lever doesn't touch the grip but goes half way therefore not touching my fingers. Any info would be great

I use to pull the clutch on my cousins 600F3 all the way in to the grip but i found out that when i used just two fingers that i didnt really have to i would bring the clutch in half way or to where it would touch my finger's and it would shift just fine hope that helps somewhat peace

INDEX
TRY TO ONLY USE THE INDEX FINGER.
THIS WAY U CAN PULL UP AS HARD AS U WANT WITHOUT LOSING YOUR GRIP.
AS FOR THE CLUTCH... THE ONLY DAMAGE U COULD DO WOULD BE IF U WERE PARKED IN GEAR WITH THE CLUCTH ONLY PARTIALLY DISENGAGED.
THE ONLY REASON U PULL THE CLUTCH IN WHILE RIDING IS TO TAKE THE TENSION OFF THE SHIFTFORKS AND GEARS.
MAKE SURE U KEEP YOU OIL AND FILTER FRESH.
CHANGE IT EVERYTIME THE OIL STARTS TO GET DARK
OIL COLOR IS ONE OF THE MOST OFTEN OVERLOOKED THINGS REGARDING TUNE-UP/MAINTENANCE.
HOPE I HAVE CLEARED UP SOME CONFUSION...
