Big Question
Hey there everyone my name is JT. I'm from albuquerque, NM, where the stunt scene is slowly growing... well, its at a standstill now... Me and my friends are looking for some suggestions on how to get on the publics good side, or if even doing that helps... and suggestions, pointers, do's and donts would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance...

IMO.....Doing charity stuff seems to help a lot....... like toys for tots....This coming weekend we are doing a show with the sherriffs office and motorcycle safety foundation.....By doing this we have got radio time and all over the news this week.....any positive promotion is good.....we try to make it habit when we do shows and stuff like this to promote safety and wearing the proper protection while riding..........If I think of anything else I will post up..............

we also do not practice on highways anymore. if you start to grow and become recognized as a stunt team in your area, then it is to your advantage to stay off the roadways..if you are a rogue rider then tear that **** up...

right on... yeah we've got a few places away from the city where we can ride... next we're gonna work on doing shows for t he public... you guys know of any good places to start getting one worked up? our track owners out here are F*CKIN ***** about letting us stunt out there

(i.e. a guy was racing on a motorcycle and his front wheel came off the ground while he was racing... the track owners banned him from the track saying he did it intentionally (because he asked about it that day) and no it wasnt intentional...

being the true that i am it is easy for me....perhaps with a little work young grasshopper we can get you headed in the right direction..
it pretty much boils down to how good you are with people. are you a peoples person? do people go out of their way to talk to you? do people remember you after meeting you? things like this..myself and Aaron both have this characteristic. if you do not have it then find someone in your group who does. if no one does then look outside of the group for someone to help you.
you need a mediator between the stunt life/language to the people who dont understand it. people are already interested in it, you just need to smooth it out.
hope this helps..

word i completely understand that... when you contact businesses and places for doing a show for them, what do you usually say to them? do you tryto contact certain businesses, get radio support? i am a people person, people do remember me, and i always remember people i talk to........

basically we have a good system. everyone in the group is always looking for opportunity then it just funnels down to me for closure. just take advantage of things already going on and see if you can be a part of it. plan on doing a lot of free **** until you become recongized.
