Jb Weld!
Hey guys took and endo too far and went over today, not much damage other than a hairline crack in the stator cover. Anyone ever used JB Weld on those before? Does it work? Or is it a lost cause and do I need to just get another? I guess it has been dropped on that side one too many times and finally gave way. Lemme know what ya'll think.

NO CRASH CAGES????
yeah....sounds familiar. i busted my stator cover last friday night, it was a hairline crack also. it is aluminum, and not magnesium so you can have it welded at a respected welding shop. i had mine welded, and used jb weld where the gasket surface is. mine cracked right at the bottom, the worst place of course. personally i would try it as a yemp. fix, but i would by one of those cheaper billet covers...they are way chepaer anyways, or better yet get one on ebay.
P.S. CRASH CAGES (freestyle ingenuity)

We'll see tomorrow, I actually put some high-temp metal repair on it. Said up to 2000 degrees, so I molded it in the crack(s) pretty well. I'm hopin it stops it, I am pretty sure the stator covers are pretty pricey. Anyways, thx for the quick responses guys, we'll see what happens

Anyone know a good spot to get one of those billet covers? I couldn't find one.... and I think I will put some JB over the steel repair I put on Nate, I just didn't want the JB gettin hot and failin... this stuff has 2000 degree tolerance where JB had only 600. I'm hopin it holds, gotta get back out there tomorrow and practice lol runnin out of season.
